Wooo! I'm so happy you are here! Whether that be to book a photography service or just to look. Anyways, I am Gwen, and I got into photography back in high school with my grandfather's DSLR Nikon Camera. In college I took more classes for fun, then next thing I know, I ended up with Bachelor's in Sociology and Fine Arts with a concentration in photography! I am all about making your image and voice feel communicated during our time together, as well as have some fun during our sessions! Outside of photography, you can find me indulging my inner travel bug by going on adventures, binging a TV show, continuing my studies in Art Therapy (including how photography can be used!), and releasing endorphins in a run/yoga class.
photography as communication
Growing up the youngest and the quietest, I found my form of expression through art. Originally through dance, then later visual art. I've worked in a variety of settings that incorporate the Arts from non-profit to school settings, and am a firm believer in arts based healing.
With this, I understand the photographer can capture a unique perspective. My goal is for this perspective to be YOUR story, YOUR vision, YOUR voice. I want to empower YOU!

Types of photo services
Well to put it simply, I have a hard time choosing just one! I love capturing candid, genuine moments giving me a more documentary style approach which I tend to prefer for engagement/couple shoots and graduation photos. However my other love is for creative portraiture (you can think of this as editorial style), which can have more posed looks. While I have a large background in travel photography, in terms of people, reach out and I am happy to take on any portrait vision you have!
